Tryfan via Heather Terrace and another rescue - Sunday 11th March

First Pinnacle Rib

Heading home

Another day on the hills, Tryfan via Heather Terrace. Not without incident. On the way up the terrace, a few people were taking advantage of  good weather on the usual multi pitch routes GA & FPR. There had been  considerable amount of chopper presence, i assumed it was a practise however on reaching the col it was obvious that the effort was concentrated on Glyder Fach. Looked like Dolmen ridge area but i couldn't be sure. During the pick up the cloud was shifting in and out every minute hampering visability. Getting home i noticed the tweet from The Grough. http://www.grough.co.uk/magazine/2012/03/11/man-suffers-head-injuries-in-fall-from-snowdonia-scramble

Hope all ended well.
